George Ann Madden B.A., R.N.

George Ann Madden

George Ann is the owner, administrator and an instructor at the training center. She earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Transylvania University and worked as an accountant for 15 years before beginning practice as a registered nurse in 1993. Before founding the Bluegrass Nurse Aide Training Center in 2004, George Ann was involved in various units including Neurology/Neurosurgical and Medical Surgical Home Health. She has also case managed for a HMO Insurance company, provided private duty services and end of life care in facilities and the home setting, and has specialized in wound and ostomy care.

Artie Norton, RN, BSN

Artie Norton

Artie joined our staff in the fall of 2007. She comes to us with 39 years of experience in long term care, acute care, and home health. Every student who graduates from her class benefits from her depth of knowledge and her willingness to share it with them. She teaches the Fast Classes.

Angela Staiano, RN, BSN

Angela Staiano

Our training center hit the jackpot when Angie joined our team this summer. She is the Director of Nursing at Lexington Country Place and has a wealth of long-term care experience. She will be teaching our Night Classes and guiding our students in the clinical setting. You will enjoy her enthusiasm and the love she has for the nursing profession. Welcome to our team Angie!

Lily Belle, our English bulldog makes frequent visits to our center to meet all our new students. She looks forward to meeting you!
